HIPA Secretary-General Ali bin Thalith said that choosing nature as the theme is to stimulate inclusiveness and invite participants to expand their artistic horizons. “We hope to provide them with ample opportunities to understand their relationship with Mother Nature and their understanding of its meaning; aiming at the elements and scenes they find attractive, and frame them through their photographs to make the world See,” he said. “This category gives photographers the opportunity to explore the different characteristics of nature on all continents of the world, and share with us amazing natural phenomena, scenes and habitats.”

He also talked about the portrait category: “Portrait photography has promoted the careers and subsequent global visibility of many iconic photographers and the faces they photographed. The beauty of portrait photography is that photographers can decide that they want the audience to watch portraits. The way you see and feel at the same time.”

As for the HIPA Special Award, there are two categories: Photography Content Creator Award, which extends to editors, publishers, bloggers, researchers, inventors, promoters, and all print and digital content creators; and emerging person/organization photography Awards are given to emerging individuals or organizations that have demonstrated outstanding work or vision in the photography industry at a regional, national or international level.

There is also the Photography Appreciation Award, which is a special category awarded to individuals or groups who have long been committed to improving the art of photography.

Bin Thalith concluded that the grand prize is $120,000 and the judges can choose the winner from any category this season.
