Italian luxury sports car maker Ferrari will bring its Ferrari Days back to Abu Dhabi next month as the first event of the year.
The annual celebration of all the Prancing Horse brand’s customer motorsport events will kick off on 2 February with exciting top and world-renowned racing events from Ferrari such as Ferrari Challenge, F1 Clienti, Project XX, Club Competizioni GT, Club Challenge and Passione Ferrari during the four-day event.
The Ferrari Challenge, a one-off championship started by the Prancing Horse brand in 1993 and featuring the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, will run for the final two rounds of the 2022 season during Ferrari Racing Days.
The F1 Clienti and XX programs are two of the most exclusive events bringing back to the track Ferrari’s F1 World Championship cars used from the 1920s to the 1970s, including an F300, an F2001, two F2007s, an F60, a One F138 and one SF70H.
The XX program features supercars developed by Ferrari where customers can drive pure track cars such as the latest model, the FXX-K Evo, as well as the FXX and 599XX.
The Club Competizioni GT is a private, non-competitive event that brings together famous GT cars from the past 30 years. Five models will be at the show, including the 488 GT3 and 488 GT Modificata, which were unveiled in 2020.
A major event in the region, the event kicks off in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (2 February) with two tests of the Ferrari Challenge, followed by free practice the next day as well as F1 Clienti, XX Programme, Club’s private practice competition Competizioni GT and Club Challenge.
The first qualifying session for the Ferrari Challenge will take place on Saturday (4 February) morning, which will determine the grid for the first race in the afternoon, with private practice for other events.
The program will repeat on Sunday (5 February) with the second qualifying session and race of the Ferrari Challenge with Passione Ferrari. –trade arab news agency
