Westin Upgrades Wellness Gear Loan Program

[ad_1]

Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 exceptional brands, has redesigned its Gear Lending program to incorporate the latest in high-tech recovery and total-body strength training equipment.

The next-generation Westin fitness equipment loaner program, which will roll out at the brand’s more than 230 hotels around the world, includes a library of kits so guests can borrow the equipment they need to optimize their stay and get the best experience possible.

Over the past decade, through operational and consumer feedback, Westin has developed and enhanced its gear loan program to meet the needs of today’s consumer. This award-winning, on-demand program focuses on helping guests maintain their workout routine anytime, anywhere without having to pack a ton of extra gym equipment.

Westin has selected fitness powerhouses for the first two outfits of its relaunched Gear Lending program, offering guests high-quality fitness essentials on-demand in-room. Global performance wellness brand Hyperice introduces its game-changing massage and compression recovery products, perfect for post-workout recovery and relieving stiffness and tension from long-distance travel.

Additionally, direct-to-consumer fitness accessories brand Bala features its beautifully designed and versatile full-body workout pieces, offering guests the opportunity to get active both in-room and outdoors, wherever they go. Whether an avid runner in need of recovery tools or cross-training, a yogi looking to maintain his routine, or a guest looking to relieve tension from a long day of travel and/or a day of meetings, guests now have the opportunity to borrow:

• Hyperice’s Recover & Recharge Kit, which includes Hyperice’s most sought-after recovery gear, such as the new Normatec Go, Hypervolt Go 2 and Hypersphere Mini, as part of Hyperice’s ongoing exclusive hotel partnership with Westin.
• Bala’s Sculpt & Flow Kit, which includes Bala’s full-body workout essentials such as bracelet weights, resistance bands, weights and Westin branded yoga mats.

“For Westin, wellness is at the heart of our mission. Over the past decade, through our WestinWORKOUT® Gear Lending program, we’ve helped guests optimize their fitness routines and achieve more on the go, said Jennifer Connell, Global Brand Leader, Westin Hotels & Resorts and Vice President, Distinctive Premium Brands, Marriott International.

“As strength training and recovery have evolved into essential wellness rituals, we’ve redesigned our beloved programs to diversify and partner with cutting-edge brands to help inspire and motivate guests to reach their full potential.”

Hotel guests looking to take the WestinWORKOUT Gear Lending experience home can apply for an exclusive promo code to purchase products on the Bala and Hyperice sites. Going forward, Westin plans to continue expanding its Gear Lending program, adding more kits to the roster and delivering more and better guest experiences.

“As an industry leader in health technology, Hyperice is always looking to partner with forward-thinking brands to share the power of our restorative technology and reach new populations,” said Hyperice CEO Jim Huether.

“Following the debut of our Hypervolt Recovery Station last year at WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios at select Westin hotels in the US, Hyperice’s Recover & Recharge Kit will further help guests achieve their personal wellness goals as part of the WestinWORKOUT Gear Lending program. We partnered with The ongoing partnership of Westin Hotels & Resorts is the result of bringing together two industry-leading brands to deliver the next wave of holistic hospitality.

“Bala set out to make exercising less like work; designing products that were both fun and functional,” says Bala co-founder Maximilian Kislevitz. “Bala’s Sculpt & Flow Kit in Westin’s workout gear loaner program is a dream come true, and we’re excited to help Westin guests maintain their routine while traveling.”

Through the brand’s six pillars of well-being—sleep well, eat well, move well, feel well, work well and play well—the Westin Experience empowers guests to personalize their stay and engage with them in what best fulfills them demand plan.

In addition to the WestinWORKOUT Gear Lending program, offerings under the Move Well pillar include the iconic WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios, as well as in-hotel Run Concierges at more than 225 hotels around the world, who host group runs and encourage athletes of all levels to acquire the RunWESTIN map and explore destinations. – trade arab news agency
