Abu Dhabi police have arrested a driver who committed three traffic violations.
A video shared by authorities showed motorists behaving carelessly on the road. Police cited three violations:
1. Dangerous overtaking from the right
2. Overtaking from the shoulder
3. Do not keep a safe distance from other vehicles
According to police, this type of driving caused chaos in traffic and endangered other motorists on the road.
Authorities are urging citizens to drive carefully, check that the road is clear before overtaking, use indicator lights and not use the shoulder of the road for overtaking as that is reserved for emergency vehicles.
