New Delhi [India]February 8 (ANI): Indian Air Force’s fourth C17 aircraft landed in Adana on Wednesday to deliver relief supplies to earthquake victims in Turkey

The aircraft landed at 4.30 IST (local time).

“Fourth @IAF_MCC aircraft is flying to Turkey with the remainder of the field hospital. This includes 54 members of the Indian Army Medical Corps as well as medical and other equipment to set up the facility,” tweeted foreign ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi.

India sent its fourth aid batch on Tuesday, including 54 members of a medical team from the Indian army, as part of the country’s humanitarian aid and disaster relief.

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that India will always stand for humanity and will not let the changing geopolitical situation get in the way of its ‘Vasudaiva Kutumbakam’ policy.

The Turkish embassy in New Delhi tweeted: “The first batch of earthquake relief supplies has just arrived in Turkey along with NDRF’s special search and rescue team and a well-trained dog team. Thank you India for your support and solidarity.”

Jaishankar wrote on Twitter, “First Indian C17 aircraft arrives in Adana, Turkey, @NDRFHQ search and rescue personnel, specially trained police dog unit, drilling machines, rescue supplies, medicines and other necessary utilities and equipment.”
