The inaugural GCC Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition will be held in Dubai on November 26-27.

The event will be held at the Al Nasr Club in Oud Metha.

More than 300 participants from Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the host UAE.

The two-day event will see gymnasts ages 5 to 16 competing in their categories using equipment such as balls, hoops, clubs and ribbons.

“As part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the Dubai Youth Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics School, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council, is proud to host the first-ever Gulf Championships exclusively for gymnasts from the Gulf region,” said the organizers.

“The Dubai Youth Olympic Rhythmic Gymnastics School, run by UAE nationals, has produced strong gymnasts who compete professionally in local and international championships,” they added.

Tariq Malala, CEO of the Dubai Rhythmic Gymnastics Youth Olympic School, said they believe in creating a strong and focused environment where children can train and compete professionally.

The Grand Series is the first step in showcasing Gulf talent in the sport.
