British rapper MIA won’t be missing this March, as the hip-hop artist is the latest addition to a spectacular line-up for the Abu Dhabi edition of Wireless, one of the UK’s largest urban music festivals March 11, Etihad Park on Yas Island.
The global superstar will join a growing roster of blockbuster musical acts including Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Welter, Wegz, Blake Sherriff, Ali Getty, Kim, Divine and the young stunner.
London-born female icon Mahangi Arulpragasam, better known by her stage name MIA, has worked as a visual artist, filmmaker and designer since 2000, and her recording career began in 2002, with a huge impact following her release in 2007 paper airplane. When MIA takes to the Wireless stage, fans can look forward to a mix of alternative, dance, electronic, hip-hop and world music with electronic instruments and samples.The award-winning artist, who has collaborated with Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pharrell and Lil Wayne, among others, will perform a series of her hits, including bad girl, borderline, xxxo, and paper airplane as part of her list of can’t-miss tracks.Guests will also taste her latest album female featuring singles babylon, aand popular.
Another iconic American female rapper, songwriter and singer, Raja Kumari has also been confirmed to bring her powerful vocals to the Wireless stage.Known for its collaborations with renowned artists including Gwen Stefani, Iggy Azalea, Fifth Harmony, Knife Party and Fall Out Boy, this Fans of the California-born artist can look forward to seeing her acclaimed singles, including NRI, Urban Slums, Shook, Roots, and more. In addition to recent additions to this unmissable festival, $kinny, Dizzytooskinny, Dafencii and Casa Vince also join the lineup.
