Lahore [Pakistan]February 9 (ANI): The Lahore High Court (LHC) will hear the appeal case in the murder case of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto on Thursday, the Express Tribune reported. five and a half years.

On December 27, 2007, Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan’s only female prime minister, was assassinated while attending a rally in Rawalpindi.

Three of the five accused, Aitzaz, Sher Zaman and Hasnain, will testify; Abdul Rashid is being held in Adiala jail. The fifth accused, Rafaqaat, is no longer present.

The two police officers involved, Saud Aziz and Qulam Shahzad, have been released on bail. Both were sentenced to 17 years in prison and fined PKR 1 million.
