ERC publishes a list of donation sites across seven emirates

Thousands of community members gathered at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (Adnec) and Dubai Expo City on Saturday – to help collect and pack vital medical kits for victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria earlier this week . They assemble, organize and pack vital supplies including blankets, sheets, powdered tea, toothpaste, brushes, soap, shampoo, canned goods, rice, cooking oil and more.

In addition to the hall dedicated to packaging, there is a “postcard station” area where students can write warm messages such as: “You are in our hearts” and “We love you so much” to encourage children affected by the disaster.

Senior envoys from the Turkish and Syrian embassies in Abu Dhabi also attended the event to motivate volunteers.

The Bridge to Giving campaign organized by the Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) was kicked off with enthusiastic participation of volunteers. In addition to mobilizing for relief, well-wishers in the UAE can also share their blessings in the form of donations.

Starting tomorrow, the ERC and partner UAE humanitarian and charitable organizations will be collecting cash and in-kind donations directly within two weeks.

Abu Dhabi: ERC Center Headquarters, Carrefour on Airport Road, Marina Mall Caravan, Shahama – Baniyas Cooperative Society, Al Najda Street, Khalifa City, Baniyas City, Baniyas and Al Shawamekh.

Al Ain: Center Headquarters, Al Ain Coop Warehouse.

Al Dhafra: Center Headquarters, Liwa City Office, Merchandise Office, Dhanna Office, Delma Office and Marfa Office.

Dubai: Center Headquarters, Umm Ramool and Al Quoz.

Sharjah: Center Headquarters, Nakheelat Authority Office, Sharjah Cooperative Society – Helwan, Sharjah Cooperative Society in Al Dhaid and Lulu Hypermarket in Al Hazana.
