
2023 Brit Awards finally reached.
Some of the biggest names in British music, including harry styles and Stormzy, will be at tonight’s gala awards ceremony at the O2 Arena in London.

When will the 2023 Brit Awards be held?
The 2023 Brit Awards will take place tonight on Saturday 11 February.

How can I watch Brit live?
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV1 from 8.30pm to 10.45pm. It’s also available to stream on ITVX.
The red carpet event will air on ITV2 and ITVX at 7.30pm, with coverage from Maya Jama, Roman Kemp and Clara Amfo.
Who is nominated?
Harry Styles and the indie rock duo wet legs Leading the nominations for Brits this year, with four nominations each.
Former One Direction star Styles won Album of the Year (Harry’s House), Song of the Year (As It Was), Artist of the Year and Best Pop/R&B Performance.
Wet Leg were nominated for Album of the Year (their self-titled debut), Group of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Alternative Rock Performance.
Stormzy, The 1975, Cat Burns and Fred Again received three nominations each.

What is the controversy about gender?
The Britons have sparked a backlash after failing to nominate any woman for Artist of the Year after the male and female categories were eliminated in 2021.
Sam Smith, who is non-binary and publicly supported the genderless category before the change, said the shortlist showed “there’s still a long way to go”.
Former All Saints singer Shaznay Lewis says female stars now face feelings of “ignorance and exclusion”.
A UK spokesman acknowledged the “disappointment” of an all-male shortlist, but said 2022 had “fewer established female artists appearing in major release cycles”.
Overall, 42 percent of nominations this year went to female artists or female lead bands, down from 46 percent last year.
Who is performing?
Harry Styles leads the line-up of performers for the 2023 Brit Festival just days after he won the prestigious Album of the Year award at the Grammys.
The Watermelon Candy star will share the bill with Lizzo, Stormzy, Lewis Capaldi, Wet Leg, Flo and Cat Burns.
The lineup also includes Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who will perform their chart-topping collaboration Unholy.
French DJ and producer David Guetta will join British stars Becky Hill and Ella Henderson on stage.
