Romeo Entertainment Group Adds Five

Romeo Entertainment Group has added five new hires to its team, including Kara Lippmann, Paige Zuidema, Brian Crews, Vickie Gordon and Adriana (Dri) Varadez.

Lippman joins REG as executive assistant to RJ Romeo and Michelle Romeo, presidents of the Romeo Entertainment Group, and office manager. She has a BA in English Education and a MA in Forensic Psychology. After working as a teacher of English and French and as a theater director, Lippmann worked in the administrative field for more than 20 years. She performed with her own blues band, Cara Being Blue, self-released two independent radio chart albums, and toured the UK and Europe. Lippman served the Nashville community for six years as the founder and host of Pro Blues Jam and served as secretary for the Nashville Blues & Roots Alliance for three years.

Zuidema has been named event coordinator for Romeo Entertainment Group. She started her career in Nashville in 2010, interning at Better Angels Music Group, and has also interned at Stoney Creek Records and Broken Bow Records. In 2013, she was hired as Director of Broadcast Promotions II and assisted with the day-to-day management of artists such as Maggie Rose and Tate Stevens. In 2014 she graduated from Trevica University with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Music Business. Zuidema joined The Kinkead Entertainment Agency team in 2015 and worked with Bob Kinkead as his executive assistant for seven years.

Crews has joined the company as a talent buyer to help REG expand to the East Coast. Crews previously served as president of Crewser Entertainment, where he was an artist manager, booking agent and talent buyer for seven years. Throughout his career, Crews has managed and booked artists including Tracy Byrd, Keith Anderson, T. Graham Brown, Ray Scott, and many more. As a talent buyer and concert producer, Cruise has worked for Hank Williams Jr., Alabama, Montgomery Gentry, Jon Paddy, Brantley Gilbert, 3 Door Down, Travis Tritter, Lee Bryce and Nelly have produced shows, among others.

Vickie joins Romeo Entertainment Group as Events Coordinator. She graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2015. After graduation, Vickie moved to Los Angeles, interned at the Academy of Country Music, and then worked at a performing arts institution in Beverly Hills. She started working in the APA’s Music Department as Executive Assistant to Josh Humiston. In 2019, she was promoted to attorney and began developing the exhibits department in the Los Angeles office. In this role, she works with all divisions of APA Music, booking rostered performances at shows across the United States. She later also started working on the festival team.

Varadez joins Romeo Entertainment Group as event coordinator. (Dri) Valadez started her career in Nashville in 2013 as an intern at the Fan Clubhouse. From there, Valadez interned at iHeart Radio’s broadcast promotions department. In 2015, she began interning at deciBel Nashville with producer Dave Brainard and Crewser Entertainment’s Brian Crews. In 2016, she graduated from Belmont University and became an employee of Crewser Entertainment. During his six years at Crewser, Dri worked as an assistant, social media and marketing manager, tour manager, and provided day-to-day management for Ray Scott, Crawford & Power, Maggie Baugh, and Keith Anderson.
