Rihanna has slammed paparazzi for violating her privacy when they shared photos and videos of her nine-month-old son.
In a new cover story for British Vogue’s March 2023 issue, the pop icon elaborates on her concerns about navigating motherhood and protecting her son from the spotlight.
Rihanna, who announced her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, recalled a time paparazzi clicked a photo of her son without her consent.
“It’s something you never want to happen,” added, “As parents, we get to decide when and how. End of story.”
The Diamond singer expressed her anger, saying: “Throw me into the wolves. Do what you want with me. But he has no say in it all. We’ve protected him so far, you No right to post or sell pictures of my underage kids. Get out of here with that.”
Riri addressed the issue and said, “I went straight into protective mode. There seemed to be no time for anger,” adding, “As a parent, it felt so disgusting, like a violation.”
Rihanna and British Vogue shared some super cute photos of the nine-month-old baby in their latest feature.
In December, RiRi posted a video of her then 7-month-old grabbing her phone, which has been viewed millions of times.
