Budget airline Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has started a new daily route to Saudi Arabia‘s Medina, with room rates as low as $60.
The UAE-based budget airline will fly daily from Abu Dhabi to the Saudi city where the Prophet’s Mosque is located.

“Saudi Arabia has an eclectic travel opportunity, we are pleased to facilitate saudi tourism The Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted Wizz Air Abu Dhabi official and managing director Johan Eidhagen as saying.
“We are committed to strengthening ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering adventurous travelers unique travel experiences across our expanding network.”
The airline also flies to the Saudi Arabian city of Dammam.
Last month, Wizz Air launched new direct flights from the Saudi capital Riyadh to European cities including Hungary and Romania.
The Kingdom wants to triple the number of annual travelers arriving in the kingdom by 2030, and plans to increase the number of travelers transiting through the kingdom tenfold by then.
Wizz Air launched flights from Austria and Italy to Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in late 2022, and it also flies directly from the Saudi capital to cities in Bulgaria and Cyprus.
In addition, it offers routes to Jordan, Turkey, Greece, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Kuwait, Georgia, Bahrain, Maldives, Oman, Kazakhstan, Greece, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Israel, Albania and Armenia.
