World Padel Tour Chairman Ramon Agenjo praised Abu Dhabi for hosting the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Masters.
The event is the opening event of this year’s World Padel Tour.
The Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism in partnership with the Global MICE Organization Limited (GMOL Events).
Modon Properties is the title sponsor of the latest international sporting event in the UAE, with other major sponsors including Emirates Post Group, McDonald’s, Bullpadel, Hilton, Estrella Damm and Head to name a few.
After competing at Bab Al Nojoum on Hudayriyat Island, Agenjo said: “I am delighted that the World Padel Tour is hosting the Masters in Abu Dhabi, an international destination that is loved by all and whose citizens are warm and welcoming. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tour, hosting the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master on Hudayriyat Island is a worthy starting point for the 2023 World Padel Tour season.

Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno eliminated fellow Argentine champions Fernando Belasteguín and Carlos Daniel ‘Sanyo’ Gutierrez head-to-head, winning 6-3 / 6-3.
The win moves Stupaczuk and Di Nenno into the semifinals, where they will face world No. 1 Juan LeBlanc and Alejandro Garland, 6-4/6-1, in a battle to end the day. Defeated Jorge Nieto Ruiz and Pablo Lima.
No. 11 seeded duo Gonzalo Rubio Perez and Javier Ruiz Gonzalez were beaten by lower-ranked opponent Ivan Ramirez del Campo on Center Court in the morning And Pablo Cardona Huerta into three sets, the score was 6-4 / 2-6 / 6-2, breaking the 11-game unbeaten record of the rookie duo that year.
