World Padel Tour Chairman Ramon Agenjo praised Abu Dhabi for hosting the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Masters.

The event is the opening event of this year’s World Padel Tour.

“We witnessed a series of intense competitions in beautiful destinations such as Bab Al Nojoum surrounded by the pristine blue waters of Al Khoudariyat, making the experience unforgettable. The UAE is proving itself as a country that loves padel , we very much hope that the sport will continue to thrive here after this,” Agenjo added.

No. 11 seeded duo Gonzalo Rubio Perez and Javier Ruiz Gonzalez were beaten by lower-ranked opponent Ivan Ramirez del Campo on Center Court in the morning And Pablo Cardona Huerta into three sets, the score was 6-4 / 2-6 / 6-2, breaking the 11-game unbeaten record of the rookie duo that year.

The duel between Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia and Pincho Fernandez and Jose García Diestro for a second direct ticket to the semi-finals began with the former’s four-game winning streak and the latter barely looking back throughout, finishing 6-4/6 -2 for an easy win.
