ABU DHABI, 27th February, 2023 (WAM) — HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University, has commended the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Thank you for the UAE’s cultural development process and his passion to improve the quality of life of the country’s citizens and residents.
He added that President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed has prioritized education and aims to incorporate national priorities into the education system, making it an important sector and cornerstone for the implementation of development strategies and initiatives.
Sheikh Hamdan made the statement as he received a delegation of academic and administrative leaders from Abu Dhabi University, in the presence of Ahmed Matar al-Dahri, the ruler based in the Zafra region Dr. Ali Saeed bin Hamar Al Daheri, Director of the Representative Office, Dr. Ghassan Awad, Chairman of the Board of Governors of Abu Dhabi University and President of the University.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the university’s recent academic and social achievements and expressed appreciation for its work and outstanding national role, which has enabled it to lead global academic indicators, achieve prominence in national development, and foster national cadre’s ability.
He also urged the delegation to continue to strive for excellence, launch relevant initiatives and projects for the future, and implement His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s directives for the next 50-year agenda.
AS Dr Ali Al Dhaheri thanked Sheikh Hamdan for his support to the University since its inception.
