[ad_1]

Dubai South, the largest single-city development focused on aviation, logistics and real estate, has announced a major partnership with dnata, one of the world’s largest aviation service providers for ground handling, cargo and travel services.

The collaboration aims to enable a digitally driven gating mechanism for cargo at the Dubai South site’s cargo loading dock, which will be completed in less than a minute.

Companies based in the logistics zone Free Zone and on the mainland, as well as porters who transport goods to other ports, will benefit greatly.

The collaboration involves the integration of Masary, Dubai South’s electronic gate pass system, with dnata’s appointment and terminal management system, which is used by dnata’s customers to request appointments to enter the free zone to load and unload cargo, the statement from Dubai South said.

It added that this will ensure a seamless, paperless experience for customers entering and exiting Dubai South Gate under the dnata-appointed Cargo Mobile Appointment System, which will expedite the process for customers at the gate, emphasizing their satisfaction.

In the agreement, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of Dubai South Logistics Zone, said: “We are committed to providing our customers with efficient and intelligent operational solutions to ensure the uninterrupted flow of goods.”

“This partnership with dnata will allow us to expand our offerings, promote best practices and build a dynamic technology-driven ecosystem that will enable our clients to thrive in this highly competitive market,” he said .

Guillaume Crozier, Senior Vice President, UAE Cargo at dnata, said: “We are excited to deliver even more value to our partners by implementing yet another innovative solution in our Dubai operations.”

“This joint initiative will further streamline the cargo process by seamlessly transferring and integrating our data into the Dubai South Smart Gate app and the systems in Dubai Airport Free Zone, so our customers will enjoy better service and more Fast turnaround time. We will continue to invest in the latest digital technology and automation to provide the best possible service to our customers,” he added.trade arab news agency
