Pirates of the Caribbean Producer Jerry Bruckheimer raved about Johnny Depp in a recent interview with Deadline.
Bruckheimer, 79, worked with Depp, 59 Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, with Pete Hammond behind the camera sharing his thoughts on Depp’s shaky lawsuit with ex-wife Amber Heard.
“He’s very good at what he does, and actors bounce back from things like that,” Top Gun: Maverick maker.
Bruckheimer added: “Depp is a great guy, he’s a caring guy. He’s someone you can count on, he’s fantastic.”
Speaking of Depp’s possible return to his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow, Bruckheimer explained, “I think Johnny is a total friend and a terrific artist, and, again, you go through what you wish you would A life that hasn’t been lived, but he’s still a talented artist.’
Bruckheimer previously told hollywood reporter He would “like” to have Depp back. “You have to ask them [Disney]. I can’t answer that question. I really do not know.
“I’d love to have him in the movie. He’s a friend, a terrific actor, and unfortunately everything we do bleeds into our personal lives,” added Bruckheimer candidly .
