University of Arkansas at Little Rock to host collaboration “All Voices” Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall, Fine Arts Building, UALR, 2801 S. University Ave., Little Rock. The school choir will conduct a choral performance assessment plan in preparation for the upcoming competition. Lorissa Mason will conduct the UALR Orchestra. Quapaw Quartet of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra — Meredith Maddox Hicks and Charlotte Crosmer, violins; Timothy MacDuff, viola and Chava Appiah, cello — Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at Riceland Hall, Arkansas State University Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro, which is Part of the University’s 2022-23 Lecture Concert Series. The concert was rescheduled after bad weather in January forced the concert to be postponed. Program: “Five Folk Songs in Counterpoint” by Arkansas-born composer Florence Price; “Attaboy,” arranged by Crosmer; and String Quartet in D Minor by Jean Sibelius , Op. 56, “Sounds of Intimacy.” Free admission. “Acoustic Rooster’s Barnyard Boogie Starring Indigo Bloom,” Based on Kwame Alexander’s children’s books “Acoustic Rooster” and “Indigo Blume,” today at 4 p.m. at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, 495 W. Dickson St. Alexander with writing partner Mary Rand Hess and music Randy Preston at the World Premiere Kennedy Center Commission.
