The annual Sindhyat jee Mehak, an entertainment show for the Sindh community, will be held at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium in Dubai on 13th November.
“Literally the fragrance of Sindhi culture, the event will feature music, dance and comedy performances by Sindhi celebrities,” explained event organizer Asha Chand.
A highlight of the event was singer Pinky Maidasani (pictured), often referred to as the “Lady Gaga of India”.
Chand said: “Pinky is a lively stage artist, an Indian female folk rapper and a well-known playback singer. Combining rap with desi music, Pinky has performed in more than 5000 live performances has performed and sung in 13 languages. Her songs have been featured in recent Bollywood films.”
Sindhyat jee Mehak will also feature singer Ahmed Mughal, a popular Sindhi singer from Sindh Province, Pakistan. He is known for a variety of songs, from ballads to patriotic songs.
Popular social media artists Sunil and Roshni Hotwani promise to bring some laughs with some humorous Sindhi comedy clips.
Harish Kakwani, Director, Writer and Founder of Vision Academy, Ahmedabad will present inspiring performances from Sindhi celebrities.
