King Charles III’s younger brother, Prince Andrew, is reportedly considering a new public interview in a desperate attempt to repair his tattered image.
The disgraced royal is ‘putting his head down’ because he doesn’t want to move into Frogmore Cottage following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eviction, according to an expert.
“He definitely doesn’t want to go and everyone I’ve talked to says he’s going to stay,” Russell Myers told Sky News presenter Paul Murray.
“I mean, he’s got a bit of a siege mentality,” he added.
The Duke of York spoke to Newsnight reporter Emily Mettles in 2019 about his friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after he was involved in sexual abuse scandal, including allegations that he raped a 17-year-old girl in 2001, which he strenuously denies.
The father of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie agreed to be interviewed on Newsnight to declare him innocent – but it became a nightmare after he infamously claimed he couldn’t sweat.
He was subsequently relieved of all royal duties and stripped of his military and charitable duties.
But sources now claim the duke is considering telling his story again, telling the Mirror the prince is considering speaking to the ABC after witnessing Harry and Meghan doing the same.
“Nothing is impossible. Andrew was forced to give up his job and now probably his home. He felt like he had nothing left to lose when he had already paid a very high price,” the insider told the publication .
