UAE’s TDRA announces 1 billion transactions through GSB

[ad_1]

The UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has announced that the number of transactions via the Government Service Bus (GSB) has surpassed one billion.

This shows the extent to which government service delivery is integrated and interdependent, and the approach to integrating government as a whole to serve customers. The GSB initiative interconnects the services of federal and local government entities in an integrated manner with the potential to smoothly share data between the systems of these entities in order to provide fast, smooth and 24/7 services to different customer segments.

Eng Mohammad Al Zarooni, Deputy Director General, Information and Digital Government Sector, TDRA, said: “GSB is part of TDRA’s digital government strategy as an enabler of digital transformation at the federal level, in line with the wise leadership’s vision to put the customer at the center of the government’s attention, And provide services that help improve the well-being of society. We are pleased with the level of adoption by GSB, which reflects our partners’ interest in enhancing government integration to serve customers.”

Al Zarooni added: “This service is the result of cooperation and collaboration between more than 200 federal, local and private entities, which collectively provide 470 comprehensive services that benefit from GSB, where data is automatically shared based on the requirements of each individual transaction .”

The GSB program is one of the main drivers for government and private entities as it helps these entities to deliver their services in a coherent and integrated manner, seamlessly exchanging data between their systems to meet the needs of customers to access government services, without transferring from one entity to another.

GSB provides an integration platform for federal government entities to integrate with each other. It also facilitates integration with local government entities through data carriers in each emirate. GSB allows integration between federal and private entities by benefiting from federal and local government services.

The GSB is in line with the UAE Government’s main objective of taking an ‘integrated government’ approach to the services of participating entities and the ICT infrastructure that supports them.

GSB is one of the services offered by FedNet. It helps improve user experience and enables government entities to easily access multi-source data. — trade arab news agency
