Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are “each other’s fans.”
The 46-year-old actor and the 38-year-old pop star have been together since 2016, and Orlando insists they are very supportive of each other despite working in different fields.
The Hollywood star – who has Daisy and Katie, two, and Flynn, 12, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr – told PEOPLE: “I think we support each other because we’re each other’s fans, you know what I mean ?
“What she’s doing is empowering young musicians through ‘American Idol.’ Then she can go to Vegas and put on a powerful show. We support it, and that’s who we are.
“Katie was a force, and we were all swimming in these pools, and we recognized each other’s pools, and we said, ‘Hey, I’m here. We’re doing this.’ It was great.”
Orlando also revealed that their baby girl is already “strong and healthy”.
He said: “She was beautiful, she grew fast, big and strong and healthy. Couldn’t have been happier.”
Meanwhile, last year, Katie described their daughter as “fearless”.
The chart-topping pop star also revealed that she is a “combination” of both parents.
Katie explained: “Daisy is amazing. She’s me and her dad combined, we’re fearless, there’s a lot of brashness and big shots. So the combination of the two of us is definitely going to come.”
The “California Girl” hit singer relishes the challenge of being a mother.
Katie also welcomes seeing the world through her daughter’s eyes.
“It’s amazing to see new things again through the eyes of a toddler,” said the singer, who was married to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
