Dr Vayalil pledges full donation over 5 years to help support movement’s fight against hunger goals

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of UAE-based Burjeel Holdings, announces AED 10 million donation in support of the “1 Billion Meals Donation” campaign, which aims to launch the largest Ramadan food aid donation fund to sustainably support the vulnerable groups around the world.

Dr Vayalil has pledged a total of AED10 million over 5 years to help support the movement’s goal of fighting hunger and providing a food safety net for tens of millions of people.

Organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative, the campaign welcomes the contributions of individuals, institutions and businesses and represents a major shift in humanitarian work by adopting a model based on collective contribution and long-term planning.
