Exhibit supporting women’s climate change education

Al Manal Humanitarian Initiative will organize the eighth edition of the “Designs of Hope” charity exhibition from 5-7 April 2023, with all proceeds going to Dubai Cares.

The Dubai Cares initiative, part of the Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative (MBRGI), will support plans to integrate climate change issues into curricula and education systems, according to a WAM report.

Through this partnership, the Al Manal Humanitarian Initiative aims to support Dubai Cares’ efforts to integrate climate change issues into educational curricula to transform global education for the benefit of all.

Sheikha Manal added that Al Manal Humanitarian Initiative’s activities this year are aligned with the UAE’s “Year of Sustainability”, aiming to include a number of initiatives, events and activities that leverage the UAE’s deep-rooted sustainable values.

She expressed hope that this year’s campaign, implemented in partnership with Dubai Cares, will help support global efforts to integrate climate issues into education curricula and systems – with a focus on strengthening girls’ ability to deal with climate issues by giving them the necessary academic skills and tools Contribution and participation in efforts to achieve a more sustainable future on climate change issues.

She emphasized the importance of international cooperative efforts to find solutions to climate change and its adverse effects on all countries of the world, especially on women and children.

The Chairman of the UAE Gender Balance Committee also pointed out that quality education and gender equality are important factors in the fight against climate change, in addition to the importance of efforts to improve health services, eradicate hunger and poverty, improve the environment and provide clean water, transition to a green economy, sustainable Renewable energy and sustainable cities and communities.
