Additional €125m for smart clinics in the UAE and wider MENA region

Abu Dhabi: Global investment platform Investopia has unveiled one of the key outcomes of its annual conference in Abu Dhabi on 2-3 March: the launch of smart clinics in the UAE and the wider Middle East.

Smart cities are a new concept in healthcare that focuses on improving quality of life and establishing pathways to health. Technology and precision medicine are key components of the smart clinic initiative.

The announcement was made during the signing of the partnership with Italy’s GKSD Investment Holding Group and Gruppo San Donato (GSD), Italy’s leading private hospital group.

The MoU was signed during the Investopia meeting by Abdulla Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, and Paolo Rotelli, Vice President of Gruppo San Donato, in the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia.

GKSD Investment Holding and Gruppo San Donato have announced investments of more than EUR 125 million in new projects in the UAE and the region, including university infrastructure and smart clinics.

Abdulla Al Saleh said: “The main objective of the Investopia platform is to create a global investment system for new economies such as the healthcare technology industry. We are delighted to witness the launch of smart clinics in the UAE during the Investopia 2023 conference in partnership with GKSD Investment Holding and Gruppo San Donato.” Launch.
