ABU DHABI, UAE – Abu Dhabi Airports, operator of five airports in the UAE, has entered into a new partnership with Jetex, a global leader in business aviation services, to enhance the VIP passenger experience at Al Bateen Executive Airport (ABEA).
As a major milestone in Abu Dhabi Airports’ strategy to further develop the airport’s business aviation services, Jetex will be responsible for managing day-to-day business services under the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) contract, upgrading critical infrastructure within the VIP and VVIP terminals, and ensuring passenger Enjoy a better travel experience.

On-site immigration and customs support ensures smooth entry and departure procedures.

In 2022, the expansion of Al Bateen Executive Airport will be completed, including the resurfacing and widening of the existing 3.2km runway to accommodate wide-body aircraft, as well as upgraded ground lighting, enhanced signage and landscaping to meet the highest level of security, in compliance with regulations and certifications. Over the coming months, Jetex will redesign and further upgrade the FBO facility to ensure the airport continues to exceed passenger and crew expectations and is equipped to meet the industry’s current and future sustainability requirements.
