President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a written message to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi inviting him to participate in the expo to be held in Dubai Expo City in November COP28 Climate Change Conference.
Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the UAE to the Arab League, conveyed the message to the Egyptian President in the presence of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Al Kaabi conveyed to the President of Egypt His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Greetings, wishing him and the people of Egypt further progress and prosperity.
President Sisi conveyed greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid, expressing his sincere wishes for the continuous progress and development of the UAE.
The Egyptian President reiterated his confidence in the UAE’s leadership in hosting COP 28, expressing his country’s willingness to strengthen cooperation and share Egypt’s expertise in this regard, taking into account the relevant concerns of developing and African countries.
Ambassador Al Kaabi highlighted the UAE’s interest in strengthening cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries, especially in view of Egypt’s hosting of the COP27 conference in Sharm el-Sheikh in 2022.
