The International Space Station was spotted passing over the United Arab Emirates on Friday night.
The International Astronomical Center in Abu Dhabi said, “The International Astronomical Center’s Astronomical Seal Observatory depicts the recent passage of the International Space Station (ISS) over the United Arab Emirates, with many of the station’s components present and seven astronauts aboard. , including UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.”
The blurry 22-second video clip shows the International Space Station zipping around with its solar panels fully turned on.
On March 12, the SEAL Observatory reported for the first time that the International Space Station passed over the United Arab Emirates.
It said, “The first visible night passage of the ISS over the UAE following the arrival of Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
The Astronomical Seal Observatory at the International Astronomical Center captured footage of the station passing across the UAE sky between 8:00pm and 08:02 UAE time. The solar panels can be seen in the video.
Abu Dhabi International Astronomical Center tracks all important astronomical events around the world.
The astronomical center’s most notable capture is the stunning new images it’s sharing of the Bubble Nebula from the Astronomical Seal Observatory in Abu Dhabi.
The Astronomy Center took 10.5 hours to shoot.
The center says the Bubble Nebula is 7,000 light-years from Earth.
The images were taken using “hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur filters,” the scientists said.
The IAC is a science center focused on astronomical issues, including crescent watches and satellite re-entry.
