Maverick producer teams up with Brad Pitt, Damson Idris for new F1 movie

Brad Pitt and Damson Idris both set to star in upcoming Formula 1 film by Top Gun: Maverick.

According to the official synopsis, the project will see Pitt, “as a former driver returning to the sport. Damson Idris joins as his teammate.”

Apple is currently working with Pitt and Plan B Entertainment on a Jon Watts-directed film starring Pitt and George Clooney.

It has also been previously reported that the untitled Formula 1 film will be released globally, with at least 30 days of exclusive screenings, before streaming on the Apple TV+ platform.
