KATHMANDU, April 11 (PTI) A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck western Nepal on Tuesday, officials said.
According to the Kathmandu National Earthquake Centre, the quake was centered in the Baruwa district of Gorkha district, 140 kilometers west of Kathmandu, and hit the area at 6:50 pm local time.
The magnitude 4.1 quake was also felt in the neighboring Lamjung and Tanhu districts, according to officials.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage or casualties from the incident.

In 2015, a major earthquake hit the Gorkha region of Nepal. A devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake has rocked Nepal, killing nearly 9,000 people and injuring nearly 22,000.
