ABU DHABI, 11th April, 2023 (WAM) — The 3rd Interdisciplinary Consortium for Urological Care (IUCC 2023) is scheduled to be held at the Conrad Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi on 6th and 7th May.
The event promises to be an engaging and informative gathering of leading urology professionals under the theme ‘Beyond Therapy, Driving Technology’.
IUCC 2023 is a unique platform that brings together experts from various medical disciplines to interact, share knowledge and advances in their respective fields, and ultimately bring healthier treatments to patients suffering from urological diseases.
This year’s conference promises to be more enlightening and informative than previous ones, with more than 400 delegates from 20 countries expected to attend, as well as 60 high-level professional speakers from different aspects of medicine.
“For the third edition, we will delve into the collaboration and consultation among urologists, gynecologists, andrologists, general practitioners, radiologists, primary care physicians, oncologists and more,” said the Emirates Urological Society (EUS ) Chairman Dr. Abdulqadir Al Zarooni and IUCC Co-Chairman. “We believe that our valued EUS members, as well as other professionals in the alliance, will benefit from the learning and help us improve our daily practice.”
Attendees can look forward to a series of six scientific sessions, including presentations, panel discussions and four workshops, which will discuss the latest trends and emerging technologies in urology. Topics discussed include urology and andrology, uroradiology and emergency medicine, urology, uro-oncology, male infertility and sexual dysfunction, and urogynecology and family medicine.
Dr. Yasser Farahat, President of the Arab College of Urology and Scientific Chair of IUCC, said: “We are delighted to bring together leading experts from different fields of medicine for the third edition of IUCC, which will be held in Abu Dhabi for the first time.” The purpose of the campaign is to draw attention to and value interdisciplinary care, which can improve overall outcomes for our patients’ quality of life and reduce socioeconomic burden. “
