Dubai: It’s a double celebration for these parents as they welcome their newborns on the auspicious Eid – some at the stroke of midnight.
Baby Ghazal was the lucky one to be born at the stroke of midnight on Eid morning (April 21) in Abu Dhabi.
Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi welcomed its first Eid baby at 12am. Moroccan-Egyptian parents Touria Kadouri and Ahmed Moheb welcomed their baby Gazal on this auspicious day.
Ghazal is the second eldest in the family and weighed 2.86 kilograms at birth. She was delivered by Dr. Walid El-Sherbiny, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology and HOD, Medeor Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
Both mother and child are healthy and doing well.
The birth of the baby brought a lot of joy to the hospital and the parents.

At 12.10am, Ajman Thumbay University Hospital also welcomed a newborn baby girl. The baby girl born to Indian parents has not yet been named. Now she is called Isra (her mother’s name). Isla weighed 3.36 kg at birth. Her parents, Muzahir Hanif Mohammad Ali (31) and Isra Abdul Muneem (22), were overjoyed at her birth.
Isla is the couple’s first child. “We have been waiting for our baby since my wife was pregnant. In Al Ain, an Indian baby boy was born at 3:02 am. Ben Johnson Simon, weighing 2.8kg, was born at the new medical center in Al Ain. He is the first child of parents Prisilla Susan Thomas, a nurse, and Ruben Simon Johnson, an oil terminal operator. Baby Ben was delivered by Dr Aruna Janaki, NMC’s Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
Ben delivered by C-section at 39+ weeks. Both mother and child are fine.
“Due to fetal distress, the mother had to undergo an emergency C-section. After the C-section, both the mother and the baby were fine,” Janaki explained.

This is our first child and we are lucky that he was born on Eid. RAK Hospital also welcomed a Moroccan baby boy at 3.40am. Weighing 2.6 kg, Arbi El Ammari was born to parents Fatima Zahra (mother) and Badr El Ammari (father). “My feelings are indescribable. The joy of Eid meets the joy of Ramadan. I am very happy and lucky to welcome my child on this day,” said father Badr El Ammari. NMC Specialist Hospital in Abu Dhabi welcomed an Indian baby, Mohammed Hamdan Nissanr, at 5:29 am. He is the third child of parents Huda Khadeer Mohammed and mechanical engineer Mohammed Nissanr Ahmed.
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr Sunita Gupta delivered the baby at the hospital. Baby Muhammad was born at 40 weeks and weighed 3.075 kg. “Eid Mubarak! I am happy to deliver baby Huda on this auspicious day. May Allah bless him with happiness and well-being,” said Dr. Gupta.
Parents Eman Mohammad Zarak and Nader Hanoun of Dubai International Modern Hospital welcomed a Syrian baby girl, Kinda. Dr Meera Anto delivered at 6:20 am. “It’s such a blessed feeling to be a part of this beautiful moment when the whole world is praying for Eid,” Dr Anto said.
