Iggy Azalea is determined to get rid of her Twitter blue badge.
The chart-topping rap star, who has more than seven million followers on the platform, took to Twitter after her blue tick unexpectedly returned to her profile.
Iggy, 32, wrote online: “Why the tf check mark is back and how do I get it off. (sic)”
The “fancy” hitmaker recently lost her blue tick after billionaire Elon Musk, who bought the company in 2022, launched a subscription service called Twitter Blue, which The service requires users to pay for their blue tick status.
However, Iggy insisted she wasn’t interested in subscribing to the service, and she also complained about other aspects of the platform.
She said: “This stupid **** app really just logs me out and says unusual activity. I’m going to sleep before I get locked down for months. Goodbye (sic)”
Meanwhile, Iggy launched a money-making OnlyFans account earlier this year.
The rap star explained that she joined the platform because she was tired of other people profiting off of her image.
On the “High Low” podcast episode, Iggy, who has 3-year-old Onyx with her ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti, explained: “I used my body to make money from a lot of people, and I got the tiniest cut off myself damn The body. And my own work, and my own thoughts.”
The blonde beauty – who was born in Australia but moved to the US as a teenager to pursue her musical ambitions – is tired of being treated like a commodity.
So, she decided to join OnlyFans to take control of the situation.
“It’s commoditized and I’m not even a major contributor to it. So, fuck this,” she said.
