The art and gastronomy worlds come together…
For the past nine weeks, the Salt Camp next to the Louvre Abu Dhabi has attracted foodies and art lovers.
If you haven’t checked it out, this is your last chance because Camp Bright Pink in Salt will be closed this week Sunday, April 30th.
The theme of the event is “Art has left the frame”, where guests can experience works of art like never before.
They are invited to answer some deep but interesting questions, such as “What would the Mona Lisa do if she were out of the frame?” What do you think she would do in the world? Something interesting to think about, right? This is the first time Salt has introduced this concept, but it’s pretty interesting.
Leonardo da Vinci’s famous portrait isn’t the only one, as eight famous historical artists have been chosen to be part of the Salt Camp food and art tour. You can also look forward to reinterpreting works of art at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
This is a great way for Louvre Abu Dhabi to break down the barriers that prevent people from discovering the magic of art, making art accessible to everyone. For entertainment, culturally inspired live performances will take place on an elevated stage.
On the menu, foodies can choose from a variety of fries, grilled corn, and gourmet burgers, including Wagyu Beef, Truffle Steak, Buffalo Chicken, and more. Desserts include cinnamon rolls, cookie sundaes, and chocolate affogatos. What quenches your thirst is the cocoa powder’s first hot chocolate.
Before you head home, shop stylish pieces designed in collaboration with Louvre Abu Dhabi. You can find the “shop” in a tent next to the entrance.
