Grass Valley Men’s Choir to Perform at Peace Lutheran Church | Entertainment

Come spring, the Grass Valley Boys Choir has planned an afternoon of musical entertainment and happy hour. Our Spring Concert will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley on Saturday, May 6th at 2pm. George Husaruk, Director of GVMVC, said: “For the first time since its inception, the Grass Valley Boys Choir has teamed up with the Wildwood Lake Girls Choir to present a concert of its kind featuring 52 singers, including Les Misérables and On Stormy Waters. Life, a Ukrainian ballad adapted by GVMVC Artistic Director/Conductor.” The May 6 concert will also feature local singers Rik Augustin, Terry Boyles, John Bush, John Darlington, Rod Fivelstad, Craig Hall and John Simon solo and duet. We will be showcasing a variety of musical styles and songs as well as some of our traditional Cornish music. Grass Valley local historian and author Gage McKinney will provide a brief account of Cornwall’s connection to Grass Valley. LWWC has been directed by Vicki Goss for the past 19 years; Vicki Goss and George Husaruk are very excited about this collaboration and plan to continue working together.
