Abu Dhabi QCC Issues Over 5,300 Qualified Certificates

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) issued more than 2,300 conformity certificates for personal services and renewed nearly 3,000 in the first quarter of 2023.

The QCC said in a statement that it also issued 12 product registration certificates and 35 licenses to use Trustmark, while renewing 27 licenses.

Badr Khamis Al Shumaili, Executive Director, Compliance and Standards Services, said the council continues to strengthen its strategic partnerships with the government and the private sector to improve safety and quality through the application of quality standards and systems to ensure compliance of products and individuals , as well as Abu Dhabi’s regional and international competitiveness.

The report also examines the results of the 44th meeting of the Abu Dhabi Standing Technical Committee on Technical Standards held in the first quarter of this year, which discussed the health plan technical document submitted by the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health, in addition to considering the 2016-2022 A 56% increase in accidents per year comes from a study of the impact of applying a personal compliance program to school bus drivers and supervisors.

In line with the goals of the Effortless Customer Experience Abu Dhabi Plan 2022 implemented by the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, the council also launched in the first quarter the issuance of certificates of conformity for individual services through authorized testing centers. Under the initiative, 16 testing centers in Abu Dhabi are authorized to assess the services of individual professionals working in electricity, building and construction, school transport, public health, waste management and other fields.
