Twenty entries from 10 different countries/regions in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia have been shortlisted for the prestigious Gastech Awards, which will be announced at a VIP dinner in Dubai on Monday, September 20. They were selected from more than 250 entries from 40 countries.
Gastech is the world’s largest exhibition and conference supporting the natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and energy industries. The Gastech Awards will be held on-site and face-to-face at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Dubai International Financial Center. As a milestone event in the energy calendar, major stakeholders in the industry, ministers, CEOs, C-level executives and other professionals from the entire energy value chain will participate in the award.
Held under sponsorship His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al MaktoumVice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Gastech Award is a global benchmark of excellence that recognizes outstanding companies, individuals, initiatives, technologies, projects and partnerships that lead the transition to low-carbon energy. They recognize companies and individuals who have responded to decarbonization and the continued growth of global energy demand in the most innovative and creative ways.
The award includes six industry categories: CEO of the year; organizations that promote diversity and inclusion; annual natural gas, LNG or hydrogen projects; emission reduction champions-annual organizations; annual engineering partners; and future energy under 30 leader. The shortlisted works represent countries from all over the world, including the United States, Singapore, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Pakistan, Malaysia, Brazil, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Entries for the Gastech Awards are reviewed by a panel of independent energy professionals representing all aspects of the energy value chain.
