A mysterious object fell from the sky near the small town of Bydgoszcz in northern Poland, sparking speculation on social media. Tensions rose between NATO and Russia following Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, where local media described the object as a surface-to-air missile with “Cyrillic letters” and said it belonged to the Russian military, Newsweek reported. square.

In November 2022, a missile crossed into Polish territory and was confirmed to have come from Ukrainian air defenses. Polish radio station RMF24 reported that the object was initially believed to be a drone with “an inscription in Russian language” on it.
But social media users speculated the object was a UFO. “UFO crashed in Poland, Bydgoszcz,” read a post on Reddit.
“Is this an object that crashed in Poland? It was recorded in the same area on the same day. If not, it’s too bad [coincidence],” wrote another user.
After seeing a panoramic shot of the same object in a video, a third user took issue with the object.

Reports of a substantial “military presence” and temporary restrictions around the site after the object’s fall have fueled several theories that Polish authorities were “covering up” the crash site of the alien craft.
