VIRGINIA, May 4 (AP) – A large snake disrupted traffic at an intersection in Prince William County, U.S.
The snake appeared on a switchboard at the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Sadley Manor Drive and caused a power outage Monday, the Prince William County Police Department said in a statement.

A police officer and an animal control officer worked together to remove the snake from the panel and release it safely into the area, authorities said.
The snake was so big that it tripped a circuit breaker switch, shutting off the signal, but it didn’t damage anything inside the box, officials told the news outlet. The snake is believed to have been living in the box for some time due to molten skin found inside.
