ABU DHABI, 4th May, 2023 (WAM) — The Sorbonne University has organized a Sustainability Day on campus to educate students on the importance of protecting the environment and making it easy to advance sustainable practices and technologies obtained, thereby creating positive changes in their daily lives.
The initiative aligns with the University’s Go Green 2023 initiative, which aims to raise awareness and foster initiatives to address the challenges of climate change towards a more sustainable future.
During the Sustainability Days, attendees can learn about the latest sustainability and conservation developments through engaging events, dialogues and workshops.
By experiencing these interactive elements, students can better understand the importance of recycling, reducing their carbon footprint, and the power of making positive choices for the environment.
Eisa Al Raesi, Head of Student Affairs at the Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, said: “Activities like this lead our students towards a brighter, more sustainable future and empower them to make informed sustainable choices that contribute to a better future. future and protect our planet.”
The event also features a vibrant interactive marketplace where exhibitors showcase the latest, most innovative and revolutionary sustainable products, services and events in the region.
