The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) has brought 13 partners to this year’s Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai and highlights three of its most popular events.
At the event, Germany showcased its “Embrace German Nature” campaign, highlighting natural sights and active holidays; “Historical Modern Germany”, promoting cultural heritage and 51 UNESCO World Heritage Sites; and its “Feel The Good” sustainable tourism campaign highlights how to enjoy an eco-friendly holiday in Germany.
Elsewhere, GNTB successfully endorsed its narrative “Germany is simply inspiring”, highlighting the country’s positive image among global audiences.
“This is our 16th consecutive year participating in this legendary event and, as always, we are delighted to promote Germany’s perfect travel options to the GCC market through our diverse tourism offerings,” said Yamina Sofo, German National Tourist Gulf Director of the Collaborative Committee Office (GNTO GCC), which is part of the GNTB.
“The official theme of ATM 2023 is ‘Towards Net Zero’ and we are delighted to align with this with our sustainability-focused campaign ‘Feel Good’, which highlights how to enjoy an eco-conscious holiday in Germany. Via This way, we aim to facilitate longer stays to help further reduce travellers’ carbon footprint.”
During the Arabian Tourism Market, GNTB and its partners successfully held nearly 300 meetings with travel companies and tour operators. Many of these are expected to translate into positive business opportunities. Its “Embracing German Nature” event was hugely popular among the attendees, many of whom showed great interest in exploring nature-friendly travel destinations. In addition, Mrs. Pfaff, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dubai, attended the ATM and showed her presence at the German booth.
Before ATM, GNTB signed a marketing cooperation agreement with WEGO, and officially announced and commemorated this agreement on ATM.
