The 32nd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (Adnec) from May 22-28 and will bring together renowned authors, thought leaders and publishers from around the world.
The event will showcase the unique literary and cultural heritage of the Middle East while strengthening ties between the Arab and international publishing communities.
Organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center (ALC), which is part of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, this year’s book fair will focus on sustainability, in line with the UAE’s declaration of 2023 as the “Year of Sustainable Development”. ‘Visitors can look forward to a range of initiatives, events and workshops that will highlight the best global sustainability practices in the publishing industry.
As the Arab world’s leading literary event, the fair provides an important platform for global dialogue, featuring presentations by prominent Arab and international speakers, including renowned authors, artists, academics and digital content creators. The fair will cater to a diverse audience from professionals to consumers and families, with five main program types: Culture, Creative Arts, Children and Youth, Professional and Partner Programs.
Throughout the week, attendees can take part in a range of cultural sessions such as panel discussions, debates, workshops and poetry evenings featuring prominent figures from the worlds of thought, literature and media.
