Abu Dhabi [UAE], May 11 (ANI/WAM): The UAE Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts Federation has announced the completion of preparations for the Youth MMA Championship 5. The match, scheduled to take place next Saturday at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, will feature young players in different categories.

The one-day event also marks the final fight before the highly anticipated 2023 IMMAF Youth MMA World Championships – the most important sporting event on the international MMA calendar, attracting elite champions from around the world – scheduled for 2-5 August moon.

Brigadier Mohammed bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event: “The fifth edition of this tournament builds on the great success of the previous four editions, especially the The terms attract top fighters of all ages. The event is in line with the federation’s mission to promote MMA as a sport and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as the martial arts capital of the world and destination of choice for champions.”

He continued: “The high demand for competition registrations is a testament to the importance the federation is placing on MMA events this season. The timing of the competition is particularly opportune as it coincides with club preparations, academies and players taking part in an upcoming event in Abu Dhabi.
