Islamabad [Pakistan]May 13 (ANI): At least four workers have died as a result of the spread of hazardous gas in an oil well in the Pakistani city of Multan, ARY News reported on Saturday.

The incident happened at an oil well on Bahawalpur Road in Multan, Punjab.

According to ARY News, the four workers died from the spread of toxic gas while cleaning the wells of a private oil factory on Bahawalpur Road.

One person who went down to clean the well was unconscious, rescuers said. In order to save the unconscious man, others went down to the well, but the four died of poison gas coma.
