[ad_1]

As we all know, Hajj is an annual religious pilgrimage to Mecca attended by millions of people around the world. As it happens, this is a religious duty of Muslims that they must perform at least once if they have the physical and financial means. With the hajj season only a few weeks away, several operators in the UAE have received inquiries about the hajj. However, these packages are fully booked!

It is worth mentioning that Saudi Arabia has not imposed any restrictions on the number of pilgrims this year. This is huge because the decision comes three years after COVID-19 containment measures. However, with demand soaring, it’s no surprise that packages are already being pre-ordered. The fact that the pilgrimage season coincides with the summer holidays also gives a reason. So, when many residents flocked to snatch up, there were hardly any packages left! According to a news report by Khaleej Times, pilgrimage packages cost between Dh30,000 and Dh35,000 and include airfare, accommodation and transportation to and from the Holy Land. As these all-inclusive offers are so popular in the UAE, some agencies also customize such packages to suit specific preferences. However, even those are fully booked now.

It was also reported that several operators in the UAE admitted that their hajj packages were sold out a few days ago. It is worth mentioning that upon arrival at the airport, residents will take a bus to the holy city of Mecca. Afterwards, they will visit the city of Medina, where the pilgrims will also visit several historical sites before finally flying back to their desired destination. These flights can depart from Jeddah or Medina! This year, the pilgrims will begin their journey on June 19, with their return scheduled for July 3.
