Michael Kavanaugh:
Michael Cavanaugh will perform music by Billy Joel and Elton John at The Centrum on May 20th at 8pm. Tickets start at $45.
Kavanaugh starred in the Broadway musical “Move Out,” which featured music by Billy Joel. Since 2008 he has been giving solo performances and sometimes accompanies symphonies, playing music by renowned composers such as Paul Simon, Neil Diamond and James Taylor. Art Workshop:
Local artist Shauna Martin hosts a photo transfer wax art workshop at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Tomball from 11 am to 2 pm. Tuition is $70 per student.
During the workshop, students will use their own black-and-white photographs and tissue papers of various colors to create beautifully layered compositions. All supplies are included in the workshop fee. Due to the heated element of the media, age restriction is 14 years and older.

Art Camp:
The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a two-week full-day camp in the visual and dramatic arts for children ages 5-12 from May 30 to June 9, from 9 am to 4 pm. Tuition is $235 per week for museum members and $250 per week for non-members.
Pearl will partner with Troupe d’Jour on a summer arts camp exploring visual storytelling, performance arts and theater techniques. At the end of the camp, students will take the stage to perform for family and friends.
