Islamabad [Pakistan]May 23 (ANI): The Islamabad Accountability Court on Tuesday granted provisional bail until May 31 to former prime minister and Pakistan Justice Instigation (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, Covered ARY news.

The Accountability Court granted the pre-arrest bail plea of ​​Imran Khan’s wife and directed her to post a bond of Rs 500,000.

According to details, PTI chief Imran Khan’s wife appeared in court and Bushra Bibi’s defense lawyer Khawaja Haris asked for 10 days of protective bail for his client. The court accepted her plea and granted her bail until May 23, ARY News reported.

The National Accountability Office is investigating the former prime minister, his wife Bushra Bibi and other PTI officials for their role in a deal struck by the PTI government with a real estate tycoon that reportedly cost the state coffers 1.9 billion pounds.

Authorities allege Khan and the other defendants used 50 billion rupees that the Pakistani government received as part of an agreement with the real estate tycoon by Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA).

In addition, the authorities accused them of receiving improper benefits on more than 458 plots of land in Sohawa Mouza Bakrala for the construction of Al Qadir University.
