Acme to launch AI-powered self-cleaning robots in the Middle East

[ad_1]

Dubai-based Acme, a major player in the regional logistics and supply chain space, has joined forces with Gausium, the world’s leading provider of autonomous service solutions, to launch its range of advanced robotic cleaning machines in the Middle East.

This is part of its key move to enable smarter workflows through AI-powered solutions,

AI-powered service robots perform critical cleaning tasks such as autonomously mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.

Gausium robots can efficiently navigate large and complex spaces, detect obstacles and avoid collisions, making them ideal for retail facilities, warehouses and other large commercial buildings, it said.

Acme will be showcasing the Gausium cleaning robot at the Seamless Middle East expo at the Dubai World Trade Center on May 23-24.

The Gausium line includes the internationally renowned Scrubber 75, Vacuum 40 and other models.

The Scrubber 75 performs multiple cleaning functions, self-charging and self-hydrating, and its size/productivity is ideal for industrial sites and production lines.

The Vacuum 40, on the other hand, is a commercial robot vacuum that is the ideal solution for narrow corridor aisles and carpet tile floors.

By adding a side brush and a mop, the automatic floor suction machine can realize simultaneous vacuuming and sweeping of carpets, and simultaneous sweeping and mopping of hard floors. With the support of a 3D camera, it is able to identify the type of floor and automatically switch to the appropriate cleaning mode.

Acme Intralog CEO Navin Narayan noted that the pandemic has increased the emphasis on cleaning and keeping cleaners safe.

“Robotic solutions can significantly reduce manpower as well as the time cleaning teams spend in bacteria-prone areas. We are excited to partner with Gausium to bring to this market an AI-driven solution that provides the highest possible level of autonomy, “He said.

“Cleaning machines are designed to operate alongside humans in complex environments with maximum safety in mind. Cleaning routes can be programmed into the robot and it will follow the route without human intervention. If the machine needs help, it will notify operators,” he added.

Gausium robots have functions such as intelligent obstacle avoidance and diversion, synchronous scrubbing, sweeping and mopping, and are suitable for facilities management, hotels, medical care, logistics and other industries.-TradeArabia News Service
