Lovesy Mole Achamma, who has lived in the UAE for 21 years and currently works in a hospital in the capital

Indian national Lovesy Mole Achamma has been named the lucky winner of the AED 20 million grand prize in the latest Big Ticket Live draw on Saturday. Lovesy is a registered nurse at a hospital in Abu Dhabi.

She has lived in the UAE for 21 years, living in the capital with her family. According to the nurse, her husband buys Big Ticket cash prize tickets every month, and she just buys tickets at the in-store counter at Abu Dhabi International Airport when she travels.

She plans to split the winnings with her brother-in-law and intends to donate some of the winnings to charity. She will also keep a portion of the windfall money for her children’s higher education.

Her two children are currently studying at a university in India. When she won, Lovesy’s husband was heading home to enroll their daughter, who is due to start this year.

In Saturday’s draw, Indian national Alex Kuruvilla won the second prize of AED 100,000, Najeeb Abdulla Ambalath Veettil won AED 70,000 and Bangladeshi expatriate Yasmin Akhter won AED 60,000. The fifth-place winner was also Indian expatriate Firoz Puthiyakovilakam, who won Dh50,000.

During the month of June, one lucky person will be the grand prize winner and win AED15 million in a live draw on July 3, while seven others will also receive guaranteed cash prizes.

The second prize of AED 100,000, the third prize of AED 70,000, the fourth prize of AED 60,000, the fifth prize of AED 50,000, the sixth prize of AED 30,000, the seventh prize of AED 20, 000 and the eighth prize Dh20,000.
